One is silver and the other gold.

So I got up this morning...got ready (because I'm super awesome and had my outfit picked out last night)...it was a quick process.  I had a bebe free morning cause super Dave got her to go back to sleep in her room for about 2.5 hours (after 3:45)...that mans a genius! I was able to totally focus on myself...(although I don't really look like I did anything to improve the regular Lindso...I at least got to have a calm morning).

Diaper bag was already in the car, lunches were planned/packed...I just had to get myself...and my child...out of the house...simple enough?

Finished getting ready and went to wake up my FREAKIN ADORABLE CHILD...I wish she really understood how much I like waking her up rather than her WAKING MEEEEE UP...but I digress...

Woke her up...we headed downstairs, got dressed her her 1980's I love Daddy sweatshirt and leggings...gah the cuteness!  She had some breakfast while I finished putting lunches together.  Lovely morning all around.

We get all packed up and into the car, I turn on the DVD player because its the new hot thing in Lindso sanity for the hour long drive to work and we set off...enjoying some Elmo's World (another time friends...another time).

I go to pump up the heat in the car and move my hand to turn the wheel when I glance down and see this:

Now if ever there was a moment of "WTF" (I seriously hate that acronym) in my life...this might be it.  Lets first focus on the fact that HELLO...this is not my wedding band and engagement ring combo.  This is however what happens when I don't pay attention and attempt to accessories under the influence.  Under the influence of what? I seriously don't know.

Second...I put a gold and amethyst ring on, circa early 1990's...with my very simple normal white goldish wedding band.

Third (I know its not lost but...) WHERE is my actual engagement ring.  My beautiful oval diamond sparkly engagement ring that scored highly with the 5 C's....that I hand picked and forced Dave to propose to me with?  Where is that symbol of our love?  Huh? Thats right...it's still at home...weird?

Fourth....Where did I even find this gold ring?  I wear it occasionally for sentimental reasons, its a very precious gift to me, but I'm normally a ring on one finger kinda gal.  Either that or I gussy all up in costume jewelry and rock MANY rings....

I emailed Dave the picture and he just responded "apparently someone needs a little more sleep!"  No truer words ever spoken....

Maybe it really was just a kick back to my days as a girl scout making friends?  Thats a lie, my poor little country elementary school didn't have girl scouts only brownies...but you get the picture.
